Introduction . Using air-filled foam to contain and liquidate the flaming combustion of liquefied natural gas spills is one most optimal methods preventing escalation emergencies. However, amount data available today insufficient standardize basic parameters injection. The purpose this research project justify application identify following objectives are be attained towards end: assessment fire explosion safety analysis extinguishing means applicable spills; experimental determination insulating ability foams, having different expansion factors, if applied surface cryogenic fluid; fire-fighting efficiency used gas; verification expediency joint high powders. Results discussion. Having discussed findings in-house experiments analyzed international domestic tests conducted for purpose, authors assume that foam, whose factor equals 300 500 units, can effectively gas. cannot liquidated, lower foams applied. rate high-expansion exceeding 0.08 kg/(m 2 ·s), required reduce intensity combustion.
